Map Designer improvements

  • Faster map exports

Map exports now process tiles and geometry more efficiently, reducing wait times for detailed, multi-layer designs.

  • New export preview gallery for non-Pro users

Review the combined map and individual layers as their previews become ready. Enlarge any preview to check the details before using a map export credit to unlock the final SVG and export tools.

  • More realistic 3D map previews

Cut layers now appear as solid sheets with preserved holes and wood-grain materials. Switch between the assembled map and a side-by-side layer view to inspect each piece. The preview also uses less processing power when idle.

Gears and clockwork

Two new tools built on a shared gear engine that draws real gear geometry rather than gear-shaped decoration. Both export a layered SVG plus print-ready STL and 3MF, and both include a live motion preview that runs the design at its true ratio before you cut anything.

  • Gear GeneratorNew

Involute and cycloidal teeth with profile shift, backlash and real root fillets. Build a meshing pair, a train of anything from three to twelve gears that curls into an arc as you raise the layout angle, a planetary set with the assembly condition checked for you, an internal ring gear, a rack and pinion, a compound stack with matching spacer rings, or a non-circular pair whose mate is solved numerically so an ellipse really rolls against its conjugate. Six centre styles from plain spokes to filigree, a setting gauge for every mesh, and a cut sheet layout that packs the parts so nothing overlaps.

  • Moving Gear Wall ClockNew

A laser cut moving gear wall clock with two gear styles. In the planetary style a centre sun drives planets that orbit inside an outer ring gear cut to the same diameter as the backplate. In the static style fixed wheels turn in place around a free centre wheel, powered by an optional second clock movement through a hole in the backplate so the main quartz movement only drives the hands. It is a decorative display clock, not a mechanical clockwork. Involute wheels with six centre styles from plain spokes to filigree, spade, baton or pointer hands, and SVG, STL and 3MF export.

New Car category

A brand-new Car category for the auto and garage crowd. Every tool exports a layered SVG for laser cutting plus print-ready STL and 3MF, with a live 3D preview. These are funny personalized novelties, not real vehicle registration plates.

  • Custom Car Badge GeneratorNew

Turn any word into a two-layer name emblem with an outlined backing. Connect or disconnect the letters, add a symbol, and print the letters raised in a second colour.

  • Hanging Car Charm GeneratorNew

A rearview-mirror charm in a shield, rosette, banner, hexagon, tag, or circle, with funny driver text, a car pictogram, and a built-in hanger loop.

  • Hanging Car Charm with Tassels GeneratorNew

A tree cut inside a round wood disc that welds to the ring at several points, with a hole on top for the cord and holes on the bottom for tassels.

  • License Plate Charm GeneratorNew

A small novelty mini-plate keychain with a movable, welded hanger ring, up to three lines of text, and a keyring hole.

  • Novelty License Plate GeneratorNew

A full-size funny garage or man-cave sign with big custom text, an optional border, and mounting holes or slots.

  • License Plate Holder GeneratorNew

A custom plate frame with a window cutout, top and bottom text with an optional outline, mounting holes, and a rectangular or notched-corner frame shape.
